The Solana-based meme coin project Slerf has officially launched its decentralized voting system, enabling non-fungible token holders to participate in project governance. According to CoinGape, the new mechanism allows NFT owners to influence the future direction of the ecosystem by voting on critical proposals.
Under the newly introduced governance structure, each NFT represents a single vote. Participants can submit their proposals through the project network on Discord. Proposals that gain sufficient community support are then advanced to a live vote hosted on the official Slerf website.
