Yuga Labs Updates Moonbirds NFT Rights
Yuga Labs and Moonbirds have introduced updated copyright terms for the popular non-fungible token collection, granting holders specific commercial rights. According to a report by CoinGape, the Moonbirds collection is moving away from its previous Creative Commons CC0 copyright status, which previously allowed free public commercialization without restriction.
The adjustment aligns Moonbirds with the intellectual property framework used across Yuga Labs properties such as the Bored Ape Yacht Club and CryptoPunks. Yuga Labs originally acquired Moonbirds in February during a transition period that also involved corporate restructuring and staff reductions at the blockchain firm.
