BitMine Ethereum Treasury Crosses 5M Tokens
According to AMBCrypto, BitMine added 27,562 additional Ethereum tokens to its corporate treasury during the week ending September 21. Valued at approximately $2,688 per token, the recent acquisition represents roughly $74 million in capital deployment. The firm also transferred 12,500 ETH from the Kraken exchange, valued at approximately $34.6 million.
AMBCrypto notes that BitMine has staked 5,067,309 ETH, worth approximately $13.6 billion, which accounts for about 85 percent of the company’s total Ethereum holdings. This large scale accumulation aligns with broader industry commentary from market figures like Tom Lee, who recently predicted a stronger upward price movement for the second largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.
